The Standard

Mohamad grew up in Lebanon, one of five brothers taught the trade by their father, before he married and brought his wife to Canada. He saved for years until he could open a shop of his own — the first of what's now two, each run to the same standard he learned as a boy. His brother Yasser followed not long after that first shop opened, and the two have run it side by side ever since.

Walk-ins are welcome, but the regulars book ahead — for the barber who knows exactly how they like it, and the twenty minutes of quiet that comes with it.
